RKZ is back for 2010, and seemingly, with a whole new persona. Dark Night of the Soul is his first project release following the success of singles Mr. Entertainer and Genda Phool.
Being the second mixtape, and first without any label backing, he’s described this as his most ‘personal project to date’.
The mix tape features 12 tracks from the Luton-born artist, and incorporates a lot of different styles and influences from Dubstep and Rock to Poetry and Spoken Word. And as per usual, RKZ has a well-rounded group of artist affiliates featuring on this project: rappers Raxstar and Sam Khan, vocalist/producer Latala, as well as producers from Bharat Goel to Zaheer.
